Faricy Award for Poetry

William Faricy graduated from the St. Paul College of Law in 1914, then served as a captain in the 350th Infantry in France. After the war, he worked as an attorney for the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Omaha Railroad and the Chicago and North Western Railroad before becoming president of the Association of American Railroads. A Northwestern life trustee, he endowed prizes in art, music, and verse.
